This building, Europe’s largest academic bookstore is located in Bloomsbury. Its Grade 1 listed status is described as flamboyant, Franco-Flemish gothic style and was designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll in 1908. Originally comprised of a small row of shops with houses above which hosted a variety of tenants including a dealer in poultry and game.

Scope of Works:

  • Stone cleaning works (Masons nebulous water clean).

  • Roof repairs to include leadwork and slate repairs.

  • Brick pointing. (Gauged pointing using hydraulic lime and silver sand).

  • Decorations to all previously painted surfaces including metal railings.

  • Joinery repairs.
